Help Wanted for Committee!

Our Speaker Secretary is in the process of stepping down, and needs a shadow to take over in due course, once they are familiar with what’s required from the postholder.  You will need good organisational, communication, and IT skills to carry out the role.

If you are interested in knowing more about what’s involved, and would like to make a vital contribution to the running of our U3a, please ask for an informal discussion to explore whether this might be suitable for you. It could potentially be of interest to 2 people working together.

Hello all, this is to let you know that we hold regular meetings for new members in the Small Hall at Buckingham Community Centre.  You will receive a personal invitation to attend, and it is your chance to find out more about what we can offer along with chance to meet other new joiners in our area. The next one is likely to be a date in February 2026, and you will be informed once the date is agreed.

Audio Visual Support Wanted

Calling Audio Visual enthusiasts – our tech support Steve would like to find a few people to act as backup for Open Meetings.  On some occasions he is not able to set up the audio and projector facilities, and would like to have a backup for those times.  If you are interested, please contact Steve for further information.

Hello all, just to tell you that we have several new groups either starting up re-starting, or want new members, that might be of interest.  Don’t forget if you don’t see a group you would like to join, you can always start a new one yourself.  Advice and support will be given to help you get started, it can be run by several people who want to look after the various aspects of running a group.  Take a look at the New Groups page which has just been updated.
