Buckingham Twinning Association – Boules Court Proposal

Buckingham Twinning Association are proposing a a permanent Boules court for Buckingham.  This would of course be for all of Buckingham, including its clubs and societies, as well as for individuals.

The Twinning Association has identified 2 shortlisted sites which may be suitable, one is at Embleton Way (under control of Buckinghamshire Council) and the other is the Church Green (under control of Buckingham Town Council).  Buckingham Town Council are currently in contact with the County Council on BTA’s behalf.

The BTA feel that an important part of the background work is to identify local interest in using a Boules Court, and I am therefore asking whether anyone would like to make any comments or express their interest in the project.

Please address any comments and observations on this matter to the BTA representative Udo Dolz who is also a BU3A member.  He can be contacted via email or 01280 815536.
