Handbells Group – New Members Needed

Our U3a handbells group is very keen to welcome and encourage new members. Being able to read music is not essential.  They will give you plenty of help and encouragement so you can be part of the team.

At the next Open Meeting on Wednesday the 23rd September at the Buckingham Community Centre, members from the Handbells group will have a slot just before the speaker to give a short demonstration.  Why not come along, see the bells, hear the music and ask any questions you may have?

Additionally there are two “come and try” sessions on Monday 28th September and Monday 5th October, at 2.30 pm at Gawcott Chapel.

The group meets each Monday afternoon from 2.30 to 4.00 at Gawcott Chapel, Main Street, Gawcott MK18 4HL.  You can email them here.

Please find attached an invitation to take part in a research study, which aims to look at adults with hearing difficulties, especially in noisy environments.  If you are interested in taking part you can follow the link in the attached flier to sign up.  It’s an online study carried out by a researcher at the University of Nottingham.
