The Third Age Trust are organising a national U3A Festival to take place in York from 18-20th July 2024. More information on the Festival website, it is residential with a choice of attending all days or just one or two.  There will be many activities and workshops held over the 3 days.

Email invitations have now gone out to all our registered members, you can sign up for the event in 3 different ways as explained in the message. It’s on Thursday 14th December from 2.00 p.m. with entertainment by the Barn Rat Band.

Note: we need volunteers to assist with catering arrangements – please do get in touch as soon as possible if you are able to help.

Hello all, our registered members have been sent a Notice and Agenda for the forthcoming Annual General Meeting, due to be held on Wednesday 22nd November 2023.  Instructions on how to sign up are included in the email notice.  This is an important meeting when we elect or re-elect our Trustees for the next year, and we would like as many members as possible to come along and show their support on the day.

There is a vital role available for an Events Co-ordinator to organise our social meetings, about 3 per year, in collaboration with the Committee.

Please do get in touch if you are interested; this could easily be achieved by two or more people working together and would enable attendees to have an enjoyable experience.

The first task for them would be to organise the details for the Christmas Social event due to take place on Thursday the 14th December, at 2.00 p.m.  Entertainment by the Barn Rat band.
