About the group

In May of this year we spent an afternoon at Gracewell care home. We performed a few songs for the residents who thoroughly enjoyed a singalong. After the session we all sat down to a beautiful tea of scones and cakes with fruit. We enjoyed the time so much that we intend to return again in the Summer months. If anyone fancies joining us then please get in touch.

The group has been in existence for some time now but we always need new blood. Even if you just want to dip in every so often that is fine. We would especially like some male voices!
We have quite a broad repertoire.
From 1940s show tunes to 1960/70s pop.
From Frank Sinatra to a bit of Irish Folk.
We always have “Request” time at the end of the session.

We enjoy Carol Singing each December. We visit the local care homes just before Christmas to entertain a few of our neighbours. It is a bit hectic occasionally but good fun!

Attendance is generally between 16 and 20 persons and new members are welcome.

We meet at the Parish Church (St Peter and St Paul) on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month at 2.30pm.

Contact the Group coordinator for further information – details shown above.
