About the group

The Gardening Group meets every first Tuesday of the month with the exception of January and August when no meetings take place.  Meetings are usually about 2 hrs in length with tea & biscuits and a raffle.

We plan a programme of events which starts in February every year.  A copy is available if requested from the co-ordinator.

2019 will see changes in the group but not too many.  In future the Group will be run by four people, each with their own responsibilities but working together to give a co-ordinated feel.

Our first event in February will be the ever popular Gardener’s Question Time with our own experts, one of whom used to run her own nursery. So if you plan to join us, bring your questions along with you.

We are now in a position to invite new members to join us.   This was not possible for some time but as there are now two Gardening Groups, the pressure to accommodate everyone have been eased.  So if you feel like joining an established group that collectively has a lot of knowledge, please contact the co-ordinator.  We look forward to seeing you.
