About the group
The Gardening Group meets every first Tuesday of the month with the
exception of January and August when no meetings take place. Indoor
meetings are in the Maids Moreton Village Hall and are usually about 2 hrs in length with tea & biscuits and a raffle.
In 2019 we had several speakers talking about a range of subjects
connected to the garden, including hedgehogs, ‘Colour in the garden’
and photography of the natural world. We also decided to have a growing challenge between members, resulting in some good tomato and chilli crops but the squashes did not do so well. This coming year, we are thinking of challenging ourselves with ‘plant plugs’.
We hold a regular plant/gardening stall where members can bring cuttings or plants for sale. Also other related gardening articles. The money from this stall helps to fund our speakers.
Below is the Programme for 2020. If you could like to join us, please
contact me using the information on this page.
