About the group
This group has grown considerably since it’s formation in 2012 and now has over 30 members. We cherish the contributions that members make to the group’s programme but sometimes we also invite external speakers to give illustrated talks on a variety of topics, covering both historic and modern architecture as well as the overlapping disciplines of engineering and town planning.
We meet monthly (except August) in the Community Meeting Room above Buckingham Library.
In addition to the meetings we arrange trips to places of architectural interest using public transport or, if numbers allow, the Winslow Community Bus. Our last meeting of the year is always a social occasion where members discuss ideas for the following year’s programme.
